Samaritans Purse:
One of our favorite local missions! We collect items all throughout the year for packing shoe boxes to send across the globe. We have reached new goals each year and have sent more than 500 boxes over the last 4 years!
Sanctity of Life:
February is sanctity of life month! We partner with our local assisted living facilities to provide care packs for the elderly in their care. We also gather items and a baby crib for a young mother in our community.
Baptist Children’s Home:
We support Baptist Children’s Home in their work to provide caring homes for children, single mothers and their children, special needs adults, and support for the frail aging.
Firewood Ministry:
Throughout the year, the men of BRCBC get together several times to cut, split, and stack wood. This wood is freely given to families in need throughout the winter.
Community Easter Service:
Sunrise service at Gouge Cemetery followed by worship service and breakfast located at the church
Community VBS:
We partner with other local churches in our community to provide a week-long Vacation Bible School. Held in July at the Buladean Community Center for ages PreK - adult
Trail Angels:
During peak season, we set up a tent on the Appalachian Trail to provide hikers with food, drinks, and a rest stop. We take this opportunity to to share the love of Jesus to these passing hikers.
