FELLOWSHIP: We value the unity of the church based solely on our shared faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; fellowship that is intentional and provides unity and harmony in the church family and the body of Christ.

MINISTRY: We value our responsibility to minister to the community of North Mitchell County and our call to reach every person with the gospel. While we respect the beliefs of others, we desire to share the good news of God’s salvation in Jesus Christ with everyone through words and deeds.

MISSIONS: We value our responsibility to carry the Gospel to every nation on earth through our giving and supporting those who have been called to carry the Gospel and by teaching and training our members to be sharers of the Gospel in their lives and deeds.

Our core beliefs

  • The Bible. We believe the Bible is entirely originated with God and He revealed it to chosen authors. We believe that the Bible in their original manuscripts are infallible and inerrant; they are the unique, full, and final authority on all matters of faith and practice.

  • God the Father. In the beginning, God demonstrated His power, wisdom, and goodness by creating the world and everything in it. Through His divine power and providence, God continues to sustain His creation, operating within history to fulfull His redemptive purposes.

  • God the Son. Jesus Christ, the eternal second person of the Trinity, was fully united with a human nature by a miraculous conception and virgin birth. He lived in perfect obedience to the Father, voluntarily paid the price for the sins of all people by dying on the cross as their substitute and satisfied divine justice, bringing salvation to all who trust in Him alone. After a physical death, Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father as the only intercessor between God and humans. He has promised to return to earth to fulfill history and eternal plan of God.

  • The Holy Spirit. The third person of the Trinity, sent by the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit applies Christ’s saving work by enlightening the minds of sinners to their need to be saved. He renews and indwells each believer upon salvation and becomes their source of assurance, strength, wisdom, and gifts to build up the church. His power and control empower believers to lead a life of Christ-like character and bear fruit for the glory of our Father God.

  • Salvation. Salvation is the central purpose of God’s revelation in Scripture calling people into fellowship with Him. Man was originally created to be in relationship with God, humans defied Him by going their own independent way, resulting in alienation from Him and the innate inability to please God.
